Bianco mug in porcelain. Arcadia collection.
The classic Venezia shape is host to the utopian world of Arcadia, featuring fanciful creatures that will excite and intrigue as they bear their hidden meanings with which to relate. Seven of the eleven imaginary figures that distinguish the collection stand out: Dragonello, little Sea devil and friend of mermaids, who is known to his friends as Nello; Flore Amantes joins together the eyes and noses of two lovers and, like True Love, he must be nurtured every day; Zazello, mischievous imp, whose trident stings and causes his victims to fall instantly out of love; Ciccirillo, a lovable butterfly of a devil, intent on bestowing a flower; Keith in the Sky, a portrayal of painter Keith Hering in the guise of a cherub listening to music in the heavens; Lumachino, haughty little half-snail devil who presents an emerald to anyone who sees him; and Bacio Fiore, the flower that blooms only when kissed. Distinctive black threading finishes the decoration. The mug includes a gift box, making it a perfect gift in the unmistakable style of Ginori 1735. Arcadia was conceived of by the creativity of Fashion Designer Orazio Stasi and is available in table sets and tea and coffee services in which each element has an Imaginative and authentic story to tell.
